Because every trip has its own story.

Taj Mahal, Agra

Taj Mahal, Agra
2017

Let me take you to “the epitome of love❀️”, a monument of immeasurable beauty, none other than the Taj Mahal, Agra.

Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan got this beauty constructed in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal with whom he fell in love at the first sight.

Originally in the official histories, the Taj Mahal was known as Rauza-e-Munawwara (the illumined tomb). It is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the southern bank of the river Yamuna. Moreover, as we know it is one of the seven wonders of the world.

About my trip to the Taj, October 2017

It was a day trip and was conducted by my papa’s office(zero kharchaaπŸ˜‚πŸ˜…)…basically, it was a family weekend getaway to the Taj.

We booked a Volvo bus who took us to our destination and bring us back to our home safe and sound.

We started our journey early in the morning, oh my god I still remember that morning I was super duper excited because I was dying to sit on the fancy Volvo AC bus πŸ˜…, we waited for about 15 minutes at the bus stand Lajpat Nagar.

The bus arrived, we got on the bus, I met some of my father’s colleagues and commenced towards the Taj.

We took the Yamuna expressway and Idk why but I love the expressway so much it is so beautiful I tell you…

It took us around 2.5-3 hrs to reach taj mahal and also in between we stopped for a chai break ofc.

We got down, bought tickets and entered the Mahal…And oh my god I have to say this, the Taj Mahal is legitimately gorgeous ❀ we went inside the house of the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan. It was really quiet and peaceful down there.

After that, we hung around a lit bit, clicked some pictures, purchased souvenirs for us, had lunch and headed back to Delhi.. Not only this, you know what while returning I made two little friends Akhila and Apoorva, I had enjoyment with them. Time passed and I didn’t realise we were about to reach our home 🏠 I was having so much fun but had to say goodbye to them.

Cool lil kidzzzz❀

This trip made me realise, you can have a joyful time with anyone regardless of their ages.
