CITY NEVER SLEEPS.
Hello readers!
I am back with another trip from 2017 ( i told you, they might be way too old 😅) but wait this one’s really interesting *wink*.
Today I’ll be taking you to the city of dreams-Mumbai, Maharashtra.
“AAMCHI MUMBAI”
Back in 2017 we had this seminar in Mumbai regarding our culture, so as a 16-year-old, that sounds boring to me and I decided to stay at home only.
The day was 17 November 2017 ( i am good with dates tho *wink*). everything was set, my parents were ready and excited afterall they were going to Bombay guyyss. We were waiting for the cab and I decided to go to the station just to drop them off yaar. We reached the station and then met all the other relatives who were also going to the seminar, everyone was saying “arre tu kyun nhi chal rhi humare sath, we’ll enjoy, come no this that” fir I settled the luggage and got down from the train.
Just 5 minutes were left for the departure of the train and I decided I’ll also go. bohot himmat karke and also with a puppy face I asked my father “papa mereko bhi jana hai, chalu?” papa was confused, (i bet papa soch reh honge ‘yaar ye ladki pagal hai kya?’) very calmly he said “haan chalo” , fir kya chadh gyi main train me hehe xD
The next day we reached Bandra Terminus, Mumbai fir waha se humko Panvel nikalna tha, iykyk 😂

2017
Fir him nikal pade Mumbai Darshan ke liye… we headed towards the Gateway of India, on our way we saw Haji Ali Dargah, Bandra-Worli Sea Link it was wonderful man, Shahrukh ka ghar, Salman ka ghar, Amit ji ka ghar sabka ghar😂😅. From GOI we moved towards Shree Siddhi Vinayak temple, it is dedicated to the Lord Shri Ganesha and is located in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, Maharashtra. It was built on 19 November 1801.

2017
We ended our day by visiting Juhu beach, it is one of the famous beaches in Mumbai and it has over 5km long seashore and was really really crowded. It is a truly great place for street food lovers, you will get everything from pani puri to ragda patties, faluda to gola and ofc vada pav bina uske kaise chalega?… I’m drooling while depicting this🤤🤤 and then we left for Panvel where we stayed.
Fun fact: Juhu was called "Juvem" by Portuguese.

2017
Seminar Day
The day started with a vada pav ofc we were in Mumbai guyssss😂😅. We had to attend a seminar so we all woke up early and prepared ourselves for the event, tho hum bacho ka koi kaam tha nhi…waha jake sirf khaana hee thusna tha🤤. Ready-veady hoke we reached the venue, met our kin, attended the session for about 30-45 minutes and as usual bacha party got bored. So we all decided ki yaar yaha nhi ho paega chalo thoda explore krte hai, fortunately, one of us was mumbaiwala toh humne usko bola “oye bhai, chal thoda ghuma hum dilliwalo ko….”
A Local Train to Queen’s Necklace
We somehow sneaked the place and reached Mansarovar station, from there we took the local train and as usual, I was excited for the local as well🤩., all the way we travelled from Mansarovar to CSTM and then we walked for about 2 km and reached the marine drive-Queen’s Necklace. We relaxed a bit, it was so soothing out there😌, we gossiped, clicked pictures, made memories and when it was almost dark we decided to head back. We took the kaali peeli and arrived CSTM, took local and headed back to Panvel.

The next day we started our journey back to Delhi. and again life was going back to be an ordinary boring life.
You know some places are like, they’ll make you feel so connected from within and Mumbai is one of those places, I had really less time in Mumbai but it had embraced me ❤
Tbh I wanted to write more but getting gooey rn coz it’s gloomy when you have to say goodbye to the place and the people.

ek sheher jaha bhaag daud ka naam zindagi hai,
aur sukoon ka naam marine drive 🙂

Mumbaiiiiiiii 🥺❤️
I remember my Mumbai trip in 2015.
Full of excitement and joy, Mumbai has a lot to offer if you spend some time there .
Even the night life is amazing ❤️ I remember drinking juice in a bar at 2 am while my father was emptying beer bottles 🤣.
