I can bet after reading this blog, you’ll go like “Luna are you nuts? who does that ?” xD

Before I tell you about my story what I did there, let me tell you about Morni hills and all the places you can visit.

Morni hills, Panchkula

A small hill station situated on the outskirts of Panchkula, Haryana. A quick weekend gateway!!! Situated around 45 kms from Chandigarh, the entire route from the city to quaint hills makes for a beautiful journey. Forests and mighty pine trees line the way up. You can easily witness a decent range of flora and a lot of wild animals like jackals, hyenas, neelgai, wild boars, deer and even leopards, variety of birds can also be seen like himalayan bulbul, grey francolin, quails, crested kingfisher and what not.

Activities in Morni hills

In addition to being a natural retreat, you can indulge in several activities as well:
Tikkar taal: Lake also offers boating facilities and if you are an adventure junkie you can trek up to the Morni fort and Prisam waterfall. You can also do the activities provided by the Morni adventure park. Altogether it’s a beautiful quick weekend getaway.

Morni and My Phone

One random day while we were in Chandigarh, we made an instant plan to visit Morni hills. We rented bikes and scooties for the day, after all it had to be special right, as our college life was about to end.

It was such a random plan we departed so late around 1 PM and it took us almost 2 hours to reach there, we had lunch in a small canteen near tikkar taal, we relaxed a lil and then headed towards the lake, enjoyed the view, clicked some picture and also did dance on saddi rail gaddi song.

Now the fun part comes, I don’t know how, where but I dropped my cell phone somewhere while returning.. I know so stupid of me xD

We crossed more than the halfway and one of my friends asked me “oye tera phone kaha hai? your mom called!!” I said “mere bag me” then I checked and guess what I wasn’t having it :3 after that I spoke to maa (now this is the back story) my mom called on my cell and some random guy picked up the call he said “mereko ye phone gira hua mila, ap aajao lene, mere pass safe hai” after this call my mom called all of friends and due to no network I had no clue where my phone was.

Then two of my friends they went back and rest of us headed down to main entrance, they reached up hills and met the guy, now what do you think did he give my phone back or not ?

No, he did not !!! instead of that he asked for 4K. bhaiya kaha se laate chaar hazaaar ?

And it was such a situation just two of my friends were up and rest of us were down and after this 4K thing i got so freaked out. Then I saw a PCR, told them everything and he suggested to go police station, we quickly ran to the station and again I told the situation about my phone and 4K.

The guy was so insolent that he was not ready to give my phone back even after the inspector spoke to him and instead of that he was playing Q/A with him “kaun ho? yaha ka incharge kon hai ye wo” oh god! :3

Somehow my friends managed to get my phone back, so thankful to you guys ❤ and the adventure was not over yet while they were returning they realized the headlight of their bike is broken WOW phone ki torch on krke aaye bechare, not only this they witnessed LEOPARD!!!!!!!

What an adventurous day it was !!!!
and also I learned a lesson, we should to take care of our belongings xD
